I was raised in California when it was primarily Apricots and Prunes. If you have seen the movie American Graffiti, then you understand what growing up in California was like in the late 40's and early 50's. It was paradise. I completed a 26 year military career in 1979, then went into business for myself providing Environmental Regulatory Compliance consulting along with Worker Safety Consulting. I fully retired in 1994--I think. I am happily married to Sandra Louise (Leak) Pedone and we will celebrate our 50th Anniversary on August 6, 2011. I have two grown children, now adults, Michael Ann Riley and Peter John Pedone, Jr. Both Michael Ann and Peter John live in California amongst the maddening crowd. Sandy and I live in peaceful Sunriver, Oregon.
